Perfect Mint Infused Lemonade

Here’s a refreshing pick me up for those hot summer days! This mint infused lemonade has got to be the perfect drink with its organic lemon juice and fresh mint garnish. You’ll be making more than one batch of this once you taste it!

 
  • 1 cup sugar ((feel free to use less))
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 sprigs fresh mint
  • 1 cup organic lemon juice
  • 3-4 cups cold water
  • extra mint for garnish
  1. Make a simple syrup by heating the sugar, 1 cup of water and 4 sprigs of fresh mint in a small saucepan. Simmer the mixture for 2-3 minutes to allow the mint flavour to infuse the syrup. Strain it and allow it to cool slightly.
  2. Add the juice and the sugar/mint water to a pitcher. Add 3 to 4 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate for 30 to 40 minutes. If the lemonade is a little sweet for your taste, add a little more straight lemon juice to it. Garnish with your extra mint leaves.

Serve with ice, sliced lemons and fresh Sweet Valley Mint!
