(Levisticum officinale) – Nice celery-like flavor in the leaves makes it an excellent addition to soups and stews. Sweet leaves are sometimes used in confectionary, but also in herbal teas. Tall and easy to grow.

The hollow stems smell and taste like Celery with a nutty overtone. Yellow flowers emerge in summer and can be quite showy.

HOW TO USE: Use fresh or dried leaves with salads, potatoes or any dish that calls for Celery leaves. Dried seeds may be used in place of Celery seeds.
