Herb butters are delicious on breads, vegetables and even on meats! This basil butter recipe is light and refreshing and will add lots of flavour to whatever dish you’re cooking. Try adding it to hot pasta, grilled vegetables and corn on the cob.
- 4 cloves garlic
- 15 leaves fresh basil
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup butter
- Place garlic, basil, and pepper in the bowl of a food processor.
- Process until the garlic is in small bits. Add the butter, and process just to mix together.
- Spoon into container, and refrigerate until firm.
Delicious on bread, vegetables and even meats!
